MONA is designed to foster the European dimension of the envisaged roadmap: close links will be established with NoEs and IPs working in related applications. Coordination with projects like ERA-SPOT, OPERA and WIDGAP is foreseen.

The project will participate in regular concertation activities with other IST ERA coordination projects, which will be organised to facilitate exchange of information and good practice and to discuss topics of common interest to all relevant projects.

The project will endevour to optimise the complementarity and synergy with the CISTRANA project to ensure that the information about national and European thematic activities provided by project can be integrated in a transparent way with the higher level information provided by CISTRANA.

The project will contribute to the development of appropriate metrics for a preliminary assessment of the impact of the ERA coordination concept. The resulting metrics will be applied in an assessment of results achieved by the end of 2006. This report will form part of a first overall assessment of the ERA coordination approach in IST to be consolidated by the CISTRANA project.”
