A distinguished group of committee members have selected the following topics to be a part of the 2006 PhAST Conference. In addition to many other responsibilities, the Program Committee organizes the Tracks and Symposia, determines invited speakers and reviews the submitted papers.
The five PhAST topics are divided into two categories:
- PhAST Tracks - Take place during the entire conference and include both contributed and invited papers.
- Lasers in Manufacturing
- Photonics in Homeland and National Security
- One-Day Symposia - Take place during one day of the conference and include invited speakers only.
- Nanophotonics & Laser Optical Nanofabrication
- BioPhotonics Instrumentation
- High-Power Super-Efficient Semiconductor Lasers
